English Bible Camp June 2019 (28)
Set in rural Hungary, this school has lovely warm-hearted workers and children. This summer the church from NC sent for the third consecutive year a team to host the English Bible Camp. The kids had so much fun! -
After-school Program (11)
Love Help Teach has sponsored an after-school program in Romania at the local middle school since 2015. The 20-30 students work on difficult subjects like Romanian, Chemistry, Biology and others with two trained teachers from the school. -
Village Children's Ministry Summer 2017 (51)
Four dedicated young people through North Carolina Baptists on Mission spent their summer serving in Eastern Europe with HBAid. June 8 through 11 they joined the work in Romania by hosting children's programs in four villages. These photos capture the fun we had! -
Youth Camp Summer 2016 (34)
It was an exciting week with 25 youth ages 12 to 16 from Romania and Hungary. We had a nice mix of children who for the most part have never been to camp away from home. Get a glimpse of the week through these pictures. -
Bible Club continues... (17)
The month of February was filled with teaching many children the truth of God loving them and forgiving their sins. Catch a glimpse of what we did with the stories of Jesus as the good shepherd, the evil servant who didn't forgive his fellow servant, and the feeding of the 5000. -
English Bible Camp 2 (57)
In the heart of Hungary, a team of gifted teachers from Greensboro, North Carolina held a camp for 125 children. Through five parables and five U.S. presidents the kids learned five traits in response to the acronym W.W.J.D? -
2015 English Bible Camp 1 (51)
An incredible week of camp for 180 children in a small town hosted by Fairview Baptist Church. The kids learned five important ways to be like Jesus through five parables Jesus told and five U.S. presidents. W.W.J.D.? -
Kindergarten English Bible Camp (78)
In June, in a small town in Hungary the team from Southview Baptist held a delightful camp for small children. They brought lots of crafts, fun games, decorations, dances and songs as well as Bible and English lessons! -
Jesus loves you! (24)
Earlier in the month we made a small poster for every child in the kindergarten that says, "Jesus loves you!" It had a picture and the name of the child. The children were delighted to receive the poster and the message that they are loved! -
Learning about Jesus (29)
The last two months we have taught the life of Jesus. As Easter approaches we are sharing the story of His death and resurrection! What a glorious story we have to tell! -
Kit-Kat (42)
Kit-Kat, open Bible club, is a blast for everyone! Each activity is based on the week's Bible story whether it be skits, coloring sheets, crafts, games or conversations. Children from 1st through 8th grade take part each week. We've learned about John the Baptist, the calling of the disciples, and two of Jesus' miracles in the past month. -
Kindergarten (33)
Telling Bible stories in the kindergarten is going great! We learned about Jesus calling the disciples and making them fishers of men. Then we did a little fishing and following the leader! The story of Jesus healing the paralyzed man was also great fun with a felt board visual. -
Christmas in the school (80)
The advent season began with the school celebrating Thanksgiving! Love Help Teach invited the children to a Christmas concert and after which twenty families received food packages. The children did an excellent Christmas program, 3rd through 6th grade children from Kit-Kat performed too! 100 children received a new Bible for Christmas during Kit-Kat. -
Christmas in the Kindergarten (68)
We spent two weeks before Christmas teaching the children the Christmas story. We also participated in their Christmas tree decorating and Christmas performance. Each child went home with a Candy Cane from America and a storybook about Jesus coming to earth to save us! -
Primary School Bible Study (28)
Every week optional bible lessons are held at a local primary school in Hungary. The children make crafts to take home as a reminder of the lesson. Additionally a Christian singer comes once a week to give a concert and food for thought to the 5th through 8th graders. -
Kindergarten Fall Fun! (34)
During the annual Roma Day in their town, some of the children shared what they had been learning at the kindergarten. They sang, recited verses and smiled beautifully! See pictures from a recent lesson on Adam and Eve as the children make the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" from a paper bag. Lastly, a fall field trip to the zoo was a delight! -
Children's Camp (64)
In another Hungarian village, August 11-15, 2014 a team from North Carolina was able to host a children's camp in a local kindergarten. Children ages 3 to 12 learned about Creation, Jesus' birth, miracles, and death and resurrection. -
VBS August 2014 (68)
A team from North Carolina served the Roma fervently in one large town and seven small villages in Romania this summer. They held church services, VBS programs, a concert, women's and men's events, a large bonfire, and a film night. They also visited people in their homes. -
English Bible Camp 2 2014 (60)
A team from North Carolina hosted a great week of camp July 8-13, 2014 for 125 students. The curriculum integrated five important American holidays and five basics of the Bible: Creation, Fall, Birth of Christ, Death and Resurrection of Christ and Repentance. -
English Bible Camp 1 2014 (70)
A team from North Carolina hosted a five-day camp June 24-28, 2014 in a local school in Hungary. The 100 students learned the basic message of the Bible: Creation, the Fall, Jesus’ Birth, Jesus’ Death and Resurrection, and in conclusion the gospel message. -
VBS March 2014 (46)
A North Carolina team came to encourage a network of Roma churches. They ministered through a Roma conference, village visits, afternoon VBS, and men and women's programs. -
Afterschool Program Fall 2013 (23)
Beginning again in October with the same children from last spring as well as a few new ones, Love۰Help۰Teach is able to teach mathematics and Hungarian to children afterschool twice a week. The time concludes with a short Bible lesson and songs. -
Full-Day Program (27)
In October 2013, after ten years operating as a half-day program a Roma kindergarten in Romania with the support of Love۰Help۰Teach was able to offer a full-day program. -
VBS July 2013 (28)
Teams from North Carolina came to minister to children, teenager, women and men. Part of their program included a Vacation Bible School Program for the children. The children were register and grouped by age and gender. They rotated through various stations: crafts, games, Bible story, music and dance, and puppets. -
Kindergarten in Romania (21)
In March 2013 Love۰Help۰Teach began supporting and assisting an existing kindergarten at a Roma church in Romania. Here is a glimpse into the two classrooms, one is 3 and 4 years old children and the other is 5 and 6 years old children. -
Afterschool Program (26)
Early March we began an afterschool tutoring program in a large Roma community in Romania. It ran through the end of June. We tutored students in math and Hungarian. -
Moses's Burning Bush (14)
The children had great fun replicating the burning bush Moses saw in the mountains when God called him. It was neat because the bush ended up looking a lot like the Fall leaves the children see outside too! -

First Month of School (54)
12-15 children come daily to the kindergarten. When they arrive we wash our hands, brush our teeth and head to breakfast. After breakfast we spend an long time playing outside on nice days. After snack we have some story, songs, poems and teaching. Then there is free play, lunch and it is time to head home! -
Kindergarten Inauguration (25)
September 17 we gathered the celebrate the start of the kindergarten. The start of this kindergarten is the answer to many prayers. Continue to pray for God's blessing on these precious lives. -
2012-2013 Class (19)
These 19 children are registered for the kindergarten. If you are interested in sponsoring one of these children at $35 a month for 9 months, September 2012 - May 2013, please visit the Sponsor a Child page. Support goes to feed and cloth the child. Pray for these children as the begin kindergarten. -
Roma School Inauguration (20)
On September 1 the new school year began. The local Roma school offers classes for grades 1st - 9th. The day was filled with celebration, especially over the new bathroom that has been built! See pictures of the old and new bathroom at the school. -
